September 22, 2009By now you have your September kit in hand and are crafting away. Here’s what the amazing Celine Navarro did with her kit. Be inspired! I know I was/am by her work .
I love the color.
I love the paint.
I love the boldness.
I love what she did with the teardrop shaped chipboard pieces. How clever is that?
I just love Celine (I mean come on, how can you not lover her work? And her wonderful French name? I love that too. )

August Guest Designer: Debee Campos
August 2, 2009There are so many talented artists out there creating away and I’m beyond excited that one of my favorites agreed to be our guest designer for the month of August. Debee Campos accepted the challenge of putting her signature touch on the August Main kit … and boy did she. Everything she created with the August kit is stunning. Simply stunning.
Here’s a little bit about Debee and then I’ll show you what she created!
“Hello I’m Debee. I love art. Spray paint and crazy sewing lines. I’m on the verge of change both in my life and in my art. I recently married my best friend Mr. Handsome and we purchased a home together at the same time. We are crazy but altogether happy
He inspires me to reach higher, dream bigger and live a life full of grace. And I love him for that. I LOVE being a free-lance Graphic Designer/Artist and playing with paper & my Mac. I enjoy Happy Meals, rockin’ the drums, salty chips, cinnamon dulce fraps from Starbucks and a good chick flick. I share my art, my loves and thoughts here at my blog. Thank you Crazy Daisy Kits for letting me rock with you!”

Big news … July’s Guest Designer
June 19, 2009
We are super excited to announce that our guest designer for July will be the amazingly talented Donna Downey.
A little bit about Donna:
Donna Downey is a bestselling author, instructor and all-around creative force in the crafting industry. In 2000, she got into scrapbooking as an extension of her paper product and photography addiction. This was only the beginning. From working as a popular columnist for Simple Scrapbooks magazine, to traveling the world inspiring women to push the boundaries of their own creativity, to developing her first fabric scrapbooking line with Prima due out in the Spring of ‘09, Donna is consistently on the leading edge of all things cool related to memory preservation art.
As a craft-media artist, Donna is a born experimenter, blending and transforming both traditional and unexpected items into meaningful pieces of self expression. A former elementary school teacher, she has synthesized her first love of teaching with her passion for craft and brings this to women via workshops at scrapbook stores and events, writing books, and through her popular blog and website.
Donna lives in North Carolina with her husband, and is a mother of three exceptionally blonde children, and one blonde dog.

I promise you will be inspired with everything Donna creates using the July kit. She’s super talented and oozes creativity. We look forward to showing you what she does with her first Crazy Daisy kit!

So stinkin’ cute
May 28, 2009
Love the colors. Love the flower. Love it all!
Here are some more pages from Kim and they are just so stinkin’ cute. They are so bright and fresh … perfect for summer.

What a cute and clever way to spice up a silk flower.
A really cool thing to point out is that Kim has done a ton of pages, a whole mini-book and STILL has lots of supplies left from the May kit to work with. Seriously, there is a ton of stuff crammed into each kit. It’s really the best value out there. If you haven’t joined our club yet, get on it! You won’t be sorry.

Need some inspiration?
May 27, 2009Then check out this page by Miss Kim. I love, love her style.

What about this page? Isn’t it just adorable?

To create this page, Kim used her ruler to rip off the scalloped edges from the scalloped cardstock. The leftover square was just shy of 8×8 so she mounted it to a piece of black cardstock for the 8×8 “Summer” layout (first layout pictured), which also has pieces of leftover patterned paper from the May kit. She also used a the chipboard swirly piece from the March kit to make the ghost shape with spray paint (on the “Summer” layout). Kim say she’s “always looking for new ways to make my products go further.”

For more inspiration, check back tomorrow for more layouts by Kim. You can also head over to our gallery for more photos!

One AWESOME mini-book
May 13, 2009Guest designer extraordinaire, Miss Kim, has made the best mini-book ever using this month’s (May 2009) main kit. It’s also quite timely as it’s a tribute to her mother.
Check it out. And stay tuned for more samples/ideas from Kim as the month goes on. To see more photos from this particular project, visit our gallery or Kim’s personal blog.
