A page from the mini-book Kim created with the May 2009 kit
It’s time to meet another member of our Crazy Daisy 2009 Design Team. The amazing Kim Whitten. Kim served as Crazy Daisy’s guest designer in May and she created some of the cutest layouts ever. Every time I see something she creates I think, “If only I was a fraction as creative as she is.” I’ve been so impressed with everything she does! Kim will be acting as our design team leader and we’re so excited to have her on our team. Wanna know a little bit about Kim? Here’s a bio, in her own words:
“I’m a wife, stepmom, dog-mom, daughter, Christian, and friend, who works full-time in marketing and PR for a small, rural community college.
My passion of scrapbooking comes from my love of photography, crafting, art, sewing and story-telling.
I currently have a small Facebook and Twitter addiction and am always adding new blogs to my blog reader, therefore never possibly being able to read them all each day!
I love trying new techniques in my scrapbooking and look forward to being part of the design team for Crazy Daisy Kit Co.”
1. I can’t imagine my life without … God.
1. My least favorite chore is … cleaning – ANYthing
3. I would love to win a shopping spree to … Etsy.
4. My must have treat and music when scrapbooking is … a bottle of water or coffee and my every changing online play lists featuring a crazy mix of every kind of music from Sara Bareilles to Soundgarden to George Strait
5. When scrapbooking, I love to use … gesso & paint, my sewing machine and every piece of scrap paper!
6. My favorite creative project is … my December Daily album that I did this past December inspired by Ali Edwards. I made it my own and it is full of great memories that I would have forgotten if not for my little daily. I used pieces of junk mail envelopes, transparencies, kraft paper and other scraps to put it together. I want to do a July Daily next.
7. I thought I would never … be a homebody.
8. My worst habit is … my lack of patience.
9. If I were a superhero, my super-power would be … to take pictures by blinking my eyes. My 17 yr. stepdaughter calls me the paparazzi!
10. You would never guess it, but I … love the smell of puppy breath!
