About our Scrapbooking Company

It all started in 1988. Jennifer was 14; Kimberly was 13. They were stuck in freshman health class together. To be honest, they didn’t like each other.

Then a boy came along (isn’t that how it always works?). We’ll call him Larry, and Larry was too shy to ask Jen to the Homecoming dance. He enlisted Kim’s help. Jen went, it didn’t work out, but that’s not what this story’s about.

The girls bonded through their mockery of Larry the dork, and thus began a friendship that’s lasted more than two decades.

aboutus

We’ve traveled together through some of life’s greatest moments – college, marriage, divorce (yikes!), remarriage, pregnancy and child birth (double yikes!). More like sisters than best friends, we’ve bonded over scrapbooking for many years now. We shop for supplies, stay up late and put together pages about the people we love.

Crazy Daisy Kit Co. was hatched out of our love of creating and scrapbooking. We promise to share our passion by sharing with our members the latest and greatest in supplies each month. There’s plenty of clubs out there. But at Crazy Daisy, we uniquely offer our members a mini-book each month to get them started because we know that, when juggling all of life’s demands; it’s great to have a little helping hand to get you on your way.

About Jennifer

Jennifer is the mother of two wonderful and very active girls (Emma and Grace) and the wife to a sheriff’s deputy, Louis. They make their home in Southern California in the same town Jennifer grew up in. Jennifer has a degree in marketing and public relations from Pepperdine University and helps run her family’s business. Besides being busy with work, Jennifer is very active in her daughters’ school and sports teams. She is room mom for both classes; soccer mom for two soccer teams; and holds various positions in the PTA. Besides loving scrapbooking and shopping, she loves to read and is a news junkie.

When I was a kid …
I thought for sure I would be a famous singer — even though I can’t sing.

I can’t imagine my life without …
my family.

My least favorite chore is …
laundry, laundry and laundry. Did I mention I hate laundry? I think that is why I buy my kids so many clothes because I can’t handle doing laundry. Luckily though my husband washes all of our clothes, or I’d be in BIG trouble.

I would love to win a shopping spree to …
Pottery Barn and The Gap. And maybe to Barnes & Noble, I can spend hours in there.

My must have treat when scrapbooking is …
peanut M&M’s and diet Pepsi

When scrapbooking, I love to use …
chipboard, ink and rub-ons

I thought I would never …
still live in the same town I grew up in. But I love my extended family and that’s where they are, so that’s where I stay (for now).

My worst habit is …
procrastination. I fight it everyday. I can think of a million other things to do than what I am supposed to be doing.

If I were a superhero, my super-power would be …
hmmm, I think I would like to stop time. I think time is just flying by way too fast. And I think I would like to be able to teleport to anywhere in the world. That way I can visit all the places I am dying to see without the hassle of commercial airlines.

About Kimberly

Kimberly is the mother of the sweetest little girl on the planet (Shelby Rose) and wife to Mike, the world’s smartest man. They make their home in Southern Arizona, though both grew up far from here. When she’s not scrappin’, Kimberly is an avid reader; is trying to relearn to sew; and works full-time for a Danish software company. Can you say busy? Kimberly has a degree in Journalism from Brigham Young University and has worked in the newspaper industry for more than a decade … doing a little of everything. A published writer and always looking for a creative outlet, Kimberly hopes to learn to paint and write a few children’s book before she wears herself out. Kimberly welcomed her second baby, Cooper, in April.

When I was a kid …
I wanted to be Pippi Longstocking. I thought she was the coolest kid ever with the greatest adventures. I also wished I was an only child; it can be tough growing up in a family of 6 kids, though I wouldn’t trade it now that I’m grown.

I can’t imagine my life without …
my family. My little girl makes me laugh all the time and there is nothing quite like the love of a child.

My least favorite chore is … laundry. I hate fold the mounds of laundry my little family creates. I hate nearly every domestic chore I have, though I do them anyway. I love a clean house!

I would love to win a shopping spree to …
Ikea. I can spend all day in Ikea; it’s the greatest store ever.

My must have treat when scrapbooking is …
ice cream, preferably from Cold Stone Creamery.

When scrapbooking, I love to use …
paint, ink and chipboard.

I thought I would never …
be a working mom, but I really like to work and I like being a mama, so I make it work.

My worst habit is …
my need for order and organization. I’m more than a little obsessive compulsive. It drives my husband nuts!

You would never guess it, but I …
I was in the Army for 14 years; four years active duty and the rest in the Reserves. I was even a paratrooper and jumped out of an airplane.
